Its particle size distribution closely matches the particle size and distribution of manganese dioxide and graphite. EPOLDER™ particles provide millions of small binding bridges between the magnesium dioxide and graphite. The fine particle size and narrow size distribution provide good powder flow of the mixture and sharp definition when pressing the cathode ring. EPOLDER™ particle size improves the consistency in the absorption of electrolytes and constant conductivity for the long life of the battery. Electrolyte absorption is a critical factor in the performance of electrochemical charge and discharge of the battery.
